participant j: Some people on the computer they enter MSN immediately. I don't do that because, for me ... in my opinion, I can't do that because if I sign in automatically, people will take care of me at the same time. And I'll have sixteen windows. So, to be honest, I would be honest, majority of my friends, I block them...
me: Have you ever set "appear offline"?
participant j: Umm, once, I was online but I set offline. I did once because that was the only opportunity to block everybody. ha ha ha ... (embarrassing laughing)
****
me: How do you manage your time online?
participant j: ... I'll find somebody I want to talk. I leave in sixteen minutes. Sixteen minutes, you know. I would talk with that friend as least sixteen minutes ... like three songs ..., you know. I usually listen to music so I know when I have to finish. So (laughing).
****
participant j: I think I increase friends but I decrease the conversations, real conversations with them. ... You know, so I increase friends maybe or people, not friends because all of them are really friends but I increase normal people I can talk to, but I decrease normal meetings with them, you know. I think so (the sound was sad).
me: You look sad ...
participant j: Look, you saw me? And you know I'm sad. If I write this in the online chat, you will not hear me and you may say "okay maybe he is thinking" because you cannot see my face, you cannot see my feeling.
this is the best interview ever
